I may or may not have a slight love for cleaning products. If it’s new, I’ll try it. If I love it, I’ll keep using it… So, when I was asked to try out a new line of cleaning products, called CleanPath, I couldn’t resist. CleanPath is an innovative, sustainable line of concentrated cleaning products available exclusively at Walmart. CleanPath products consist of a reusable bottle and refill pods which save you money, time and waste.
The CleanPath™ line is based on a new packaging concept developed by entrepreneur and father, Jason Foster. A few years ago, while ironing a shirt, Jason realized that the large, clunky, disposable bottles we buy from cleaning brands everyday contained about 10% ingredients and 90% water. That means millions of consumers were paying huge amounts of money for two things – disposable bottles and water. What a waste!
Jason’s vision was to turn this waste upside down, both literally and figuratively, with a sleek, reusable bottle and refill pod system. With his new system, consumers would simply flip the bottle upside down, squeeze cleaning concentrate from the refill pod into the measuring cup inside the bottle, then add water. By taking a few simple steps, they’d get more clean for the buck, save waste, and feel better in the process.
Today, thanks to Walmart’s support, Jason’s vision has become a reality. The CleanPath™ line now includes a Multi-Surface Cleaner, Bathroom Cleaner, Glass Cleaner, Foaming Hand Soap and Foaming Hand Sanitizer. Starter bottles will retail for $3.58 each, and refill pods for $2.28 each, making the per bottle cost under $1, since each Refill Pod makes 3 bottles of cleaner.
We have been using the Bathroom Cleaner, Multi-Surface Cleaner, and Foaming Hand Soap, here at home, and so far, really like them. Not only are they very easy to use, but because each pod gives me 3 bottles worth of cleaner, I feel like I am getting an amazing deal! I mean, once you have a bottle, the refill pods make each bottle of cleaner cost about 76¢!!! Seriously! Where else can you get cleaner for that little?
