Save Time with Bissell's Symphony All-in-One Vacuum and Steam Mop

You must think that I have some strange love for floor cleaners… I have done reviews on so many vacuums, steam mops, and other floor cleaners on this site, it’s kind of crazy, but I absolutely love checking out the latest and greatest in keeping my house clean. Most importantly, items that save me time!

I recently got the chance to try out the Bissell Symphony All-in-One Vacuum and Steam Mop – the only product to vacuum and steam at the same time. This new all-in-one vacuum and steam mop is safe for all hard surfaces including wood. They claim that the steam feature cleans better than the leading steam mop and the vacuum feature cleans better than the leading stick vacuum. They also say that, together the performance cleans better than Dyson DC44 and Dyson DC56 and saves more time than the Shark Rotator Vac OR Steam. A revolution in cleaning; the Symphony will replace your broom, dustpan, mop and bucket.

We have a lot of wood floors in our home, and it takes so much time to sweep, and then mop everything… It’s even worse when I can’t find a dust pan to pick up what I’ve swept or if my rechargeable stick vacuum is not charged when I need it. If this truly works the way they claim, it would save so much time, and I would be able to get other projects done in the time I save! Here’s how it worked!

First, it was very easy to put together. No tools required, which is a very nice feature. The cleaner came with two mop pads, one very soft one and one with a slight scrubbing surface to it. Nothing harsh, just enough to pick up stuck on spots on the floor. I chose the plain pad, just to see how well it would do, and put it on the cleaner. I filled up the water reservoir, and plugged it in!

The handle was very easy to adjust for my shortness, and when I was ready to go, I pushed the Low button for steam. I heard it priming and then steaming. I turned on the vacuum and started on my way. I was able to get the entire kitchen done in a matter of minutes. The vacuum part was actually quite strong, and I noticed that it actually sucked up particles that were against the cabinets. I noticed a couple of spots on the floor that needed some extra scrubbing. I turned the steam onto High, and went over it a couple more times to get rid of the spot.

The steamer did not leave any streaks on my floors, which was awesome. You just have to make sure than when you are vacuuming, you keep the particles in front of the vacuum. It only picks up from the front of the pad, so you push to vacuum and pull to steam, so to speak. It works…  I took a look at my floors in the sunlight, and was pretty impressed with how clean they were. When I was done, I removed the mop pad, and tossed it in the washing machine. I loved how fast it was compared to sweeping, and then mopping and that the pads are washable. This has absolutely replaced a couple of other cleaning devices and become a permanent fixture in this house.

BISSELL wants to know, “What will you be one step closer doing after you clean with a Symphony?” For me, I was one step closer to enjoying more family time after cleaning with my Symphony, because One Step cleaning saves time!

The Bissell Symphony All-In-One Vacuum and Steam mop is new and exclusive to Walmart, in stores and online,  for $198.96.

I absolutely love mine! After seeing this review, what do you think about the Bissell Symphony? Would you try it? What would you be “one step closer” to doing with this one step cleaning device?
