DIY- Spooky Halloween Wreath

I was looking for a really cute wreath for my front door this Halloween, but nothing I found was something I really liked. I decided I’d make one on my own. Somehow this has really been a good year for me to make wreaths. The nice thing is that I can make them, and use them over and over. This one was just oo fun, and cool things happened on accident…

This wreath is so easy to make, it’s scary!

Things you’ll need:

1. Grapevine Wreath– $3.47

2. Halloween themed picks, or any decorations you’d like to place on the wreath (Glitter Spiders $2.27 ea)

3. 3 different Halloween themed colors of tulle. $6.68 ea

4. Ribbon, or make one from the tulle.

How to make it:

1. Take your first color of tulle, and tie off one end to the back of the grapevine wreath. Wrap the tulle around the wreath and secure end to the wreath.

2. Repeat with your second and third colors of tulle.

3. I took all three colors of tulle, and tied them into a bow. You can use something different if you want it to stand out more. Attach with Hot Glue.

4. Take your decorations, and hot glue them to the wreath. I used the glitter spiders from Walmart. Since I used spiders, I thought spider “webs” would be a fun addition. I used my hot glue gun to create webs out of stretched hot glue. It turned out really well!

5. I used a single strand of tulle to make a hanger and just tied it to the wreath. Here is the wreath hanging on my front door.

This wreath was seriously, so easy to make, and I’ve received so many compliments on it. It only cost me $25 to get all of the supplies, but I have so much extra tulle for other projects, it truly didn’t cost me more than $10-$15 to make just this one wreath!

How about you? Want to try it? I’d love to see your creations when you’re done!
