We’ve all heard of Colgate toothpaste, toothbrushes, and other Oral Health Care items… but did you know that Colgate made other things, like body soap, deordorants, etc? Well, after trying out the Wisp with Whitening, I was offered a chance to try out some other products from Colgate and I actually giggled when I received the box! Some of the products I received were products we already had in our house!!! Here’s a rundown of some of the newest, and some of our favorite products from Colgate!
So, I was sent the Gold Bottle, Nutri Serums with Mineral Extracts, and really giggled when I opened the box. We already had the Green & Purple Bottles here in our shower! The Green one contains Vitamin E and the Purple one contains Omegas 3 & 6. I like the scents. They’re not at all over powering, and they’re subtle enough that hubby and I can share a body wash, rather than have to buy multiple washes to appese both of our noses. I also like the idea of the nutrient softening serum pearls in the body wash. They seem to help exfoliate and my skin does feel soft when I get out of the shower. These Nutri Serums lather up nicely, and rinse away very cleanly, leaving no noticeable residue on my skin.  I don’t have a lot of time in the mornings now that my girls are in school, and putting on lotion is a very needed, but often a forgotten part of my routine. After using the SoftSoap Nutri Serums for a few days, I didn’t seem to have  the dry skin issues as badly as I did before when I forgot to moisturize.  I think the price is pretty reasonable as well, and bonus when you get a coupon for it!
SoftSoap Black Orchid & Velvet Hibiscus:
After using the Nutri Serum body washes, I was so excited to try out this new Black Orchid and Velvet Hibiscus body wash. Here’s how SoftSoap describes this wash:
“Enriched with real hibiscus extract, this natural skin conditioner leaves skin silky soft and delicately scented.”
I have to say, this is my new favorite body wash. Like the Nutri Serum washes, my skin didn’t seem like it needed lotion, which really saves me a bunch of time in the morning. The fragrance is awesome, again, not too bold… It’s just perfect for my taste. I’m not normally a floral person, but this one is so awesome. It’s very silky, and not oily at all. It makes a good amount of suds with just a quarter size on a bath pouf. It rinses off very cleanly, leaving no yucky residue behind. This product is brand new, so look for it and check it out!
Kid’s Toothbrushes & Kid’s Toothpaste:
My girls have been using Colgate toothbrushes and toothpaste since they started using “big girl” products! They have used the Dora Toothpaste, the SpongeBob SquarePants Toothpaste, as well as the 2 in 1 Toothpaste which is a toothpaste and mouthwash all in one! They almost always pick out the Dora Toothpaste when I take them shopping.
The Dora battery powered toothbrushes have become a huge favorite here too. Mommy & Daddy have the Colgate 360Ëš SonicPower brushes, and our girls asked for a “moving toothbrush” for a while. The small rotating head fits great to get around their small gums, and teeth, brushing away food particles and cleaning up their teeth. The bristles are soft, so their gums aren’t getting hurt… and something good for kids… The brush lays flat on the counter so they can use both hands to squeeze the toothpaste tube, and not spill toothpaste everywhere! If you run out of battery, and you don’t need to change your toothbrush yet, you can replace the two AA batteries and keep on brushing!!!
Lady Speed Stick & Men’s Speed Stick:
Colgate has come out with a new line of Speed Stick and Lady Speed Stick with StainGuard… These products are formulated to fight those nasty yellow armpit stains that appear in your favorite white shirts. They also are supposed to prevent the white residue other deodorants leave behind! Really, how many times have you applied your deodorant, and then put on your favorite black tank top, only to later notice white residue all along the side of your shirt. Ick! It’s embarrassing too! I’ve never really been dedicated to one deodorant brand or the other, as I typically tend to buy whatever is on sale at the time I need it, but I really think I’ll be checking out the Lady Speed Stick a little more closely now. I’ve personally never had the yellow stain problems, but I do have the white residue on my shirts.. I wear Tank Tops a lot in the Summer, and HATE when you can see my deodorant.. The Lady Speed Stick doesn’t seem to be coming off on my clothes, and that’s very cool.
