Hey everyone! We were recently offered the chance to check out James Patterson’s latest book, Treasure Hunters: Peril at the Top of the World. This is the 3rd book in the Treasure Hunters series, and they are ALL very funny books. My girls absolutely loved this book, and thought it was awesome! They’ve read the Middle School and I Funny series’ from James Patterson, so they knew that they would definitely enjoy this one!
I asked them to give me a little quick book review from their perspective, so here you go!

Hello! I’m Alexandra, and I just read James Patterson’s Treasure Hunters, Peril at the Top of the World. It is a great book! It talks about the Kidd Family’s adventures in Russia and the North Pole. They search for missing paintings that were stolen by the “Enlightened Ones”. My favorite part was when they were on a boat taking videos and pictures of the ice melting and animals in need. Will they find the treasure? You have to read the book to find out!

Hi! I just read James Patterson’s new book called Treasuer Hunters, Peril at the Top of the World. I really liked it! It’s is about a family named the Kidd’s who go to different places around the world, which, in this book, is Russia. The family tries to find the missing art pieces that have been stolen. My favorite part was when their tour guide revealed that she was a police officer. I don’t think anyone could’ve guessed that until she said that in the book! This book is really funny, so make sure you read this book to find out what happens next!
Back to my thoughts on this book:
I found this book to be really funny, with a lot of great jokes that even the grown ups will laugh out loud over. The comics through out the book give the story a lot more insight into what’s going on, and offer some great visualizations on what’s going on in the book, and they are downright hilarious! We can’t wait to read the rest of the series, and are anxiously awaiting the next book… because you know… there will be more adventures!
