A few of us Walmart Moms were asked to give Walmart Pickup a try and let you know how it went. Here’s my experience in a nutshell….
On December 4th, I placed an order on Walmart.com for a pair of much needed Winter Boots. They were on Rollback, and they just happened to have my size, so I was excited! I ordered my boots to be picked up at store #7009. The website said they would be available for pickup by December 10th. On December 8th, I received an email and text message that my order was ready for pickup! Yes! It arrived 2 days early!
I wasn’t able to pick it up that same day, but I went out to the store the next day to pick it up!
When I got the store, I had some more shopping to do so I took a peek as I walked by our Pick Up area. It was empty! I ran around the store, picking up the items I needed and paid, then ran over to Pick Up. There were 2 people ahead of me in line at this point. I figured I’d see how long it took me to get to the front so I checked my watch. It took just under 5 minutes for the employees to distribute the two orders before me, and it was my turn! I handed over my ID card, and within 2 minutes, had received and signed for my order! Quick, easy, and free shipping! Yes Please, and Thank You!
Walmart Pick Up also has Mobile Check In to make things even easier! Let the store know you’re there, and they’ll have it ready even quicker for you! I didn’t get to try this out, but you can! If you do, please let me know how it goes!
