DIY- St. Patrick’s Day Wreath

I love to decorate my front door, and really needed something new for this St. Patrick’s Day. I was walking around my local Walmart store and came across this green wreath. It reminded me of grass and I was instantly inspired to make this St. Patrick’s Day wreath. It is really fun and quick to make and I received a few compliments on it from people who stopped by!

This wreath is very simple, and only requires a few supplies!

SuppliesNeeded

Here’s what you need:

Here’s how you make it:

Since the wreath itself is already green, most of the work is already done for you! If you can’t find the moss wreath, you can pick up any foam wreath and wrap it in ribbon, or burlap, or anything green!

1. The First thing you need to do is trace and cut your shamrock shapes from the felt.

2. Next, take these shamrocks and stack various colors.. Mix them up a bit! To pin them to the wreath, put a pin through a bead and push through the shamrocks into the foam wreath. I like to add a dab of hot glue underneath to keep the pin from slipping out.

3. Use the ribbon to make a bow! Secure it to the wreath with hot glue and a pin!

4. Take a small piece of ribbon and make a loop to make the hook hanger. Secure it to the back of the wreath using a pin and the hot glue.

5. Hang it up and enjoy!

See!?!?! 5 very easy steps! This wreath cost me less than $15 to make, and I found everything in the Arts & Crafts section at my local Walmart Store!
