Outdoor Grilling Tips From the Experts

During the Summer, we love to grill out, or use our smoker to make anything from salsa, to ribs, to tri-tip roasts. Our grill and smoker get a lot of use, but there are some things we recently learned and thought that they were cool enough to share!

Check out this quick video in which I share the grilling tips that most surprised me on my last trip to Arkansas. We learned some great recipes and tricks from a couple of grill “Masters”!

Seriously! We did learn about the onion trick on this trip… I even posted about it on Facebook as it was happening!

We also learned about grilling shrimp and other yummies on cedar planks. The shrimp that were grilled as part of our lunch were absolutely delicious!

Other Western Wood Products we like to use are the Wood Smoking Chips. Yes, we used to soak our chips before putting them in the smoker. This trip taught us something new. I even texted my hubby as soon as I learned about it! A large variety of “flavors” is available at your local Walmart store!
