DIY Holiday Table Centerpiece Wreath

I love the holidays, and decorating for Christmas is a bunch of fun. This year, I have an amazing dining table thanks to my dear hubby… Yes, he built our dining table, and he did a great job.. Now, I get to decorate it!

Last October, I went to the Walmart Home Office and got to see what cool items were coming out for this holiday season, and got to learn some great decorating tips from Max, at Better Homes & Gardens! He has some great ideas when it comes to putting decorations together for a home. When I saw how he decorated the dining table for us, I knew that I wanted to do something very similar for mine!

I started with a centerpiece… This one is super easy, and quite affordable! Check it out!

Things you’ll need:

Artificial Wreath- I used the 24″ artificial wreath from Walmart for only $4.98

Ornament clips- Poinsettia 98¢, pine and berries $1.98 at Walmart

Pinecones- from BH&G $3.98 a bag.. I got two bags

BH&G Hurricane Candle Holder- $10.87 for the large $8.87 for small

Pillar Candles- $2.98

Snowflake Ornaments- Box of 20 for only $2.98

(I’d link you to them on Walmart.com, but they seem to be all local store buys)

How you make it:

First, start off with the wreath. Fluff out the branches and get it as full as you can.

I placed the ornament clips at opposite ends of the wreath.

Take the plate out of the hurricane candle holders and filled the bottom with the smaller pinecones. Replace the plate and place the pillar candles on the plates! Place the hurricane holders in the center of the wreath.

I then took 4 of the largest pine cones and placed them evenly around the wreath, and then placed one glitter snowflake ornament in between each of the pinecones.

Spread out the rest of the pinecones inside the wreath and around the hurricane candle holders.

That’s it! It’s super simple, and you can use the wreath all Winter long! Just change out the candle colors, or ornaments used on the wreath!

You can also use other types of candle holders too! Whatever you use, make sure it’s safe to use, and never leave lit candles unattended!

All of these items were found at my local Walmart store, and at excellent prices!

Are you making a centerpiece for your table? I’d love to see what you make! Leave a comment with a link to your pictures below!
