DIY – Wine Bottle and Party Invite

This craft can make a really cool housewarming gift or even a favor for the grownups at your parties! All you need is a bottle of your favorite wine, some pretty card stock, and a few pretty punches. If you’re throwing a party, send a coordinating invitation or announcement out to everyone!  You can use any colors you choose for your party theme. They are super simple to make and don’t really take a lot of time! Check out this gift and invitation that I did in just under 20 minutes!

For your invitation, simply design your text using the computer and print it out!

Layer your cardstock in your desired colors and textures.

Add strips of pre-cut Edger Punch borders to accent and add adhesive rhinestones for extra flair.

To decorate your wine bottle:

For the wide band, measure and cut a piece of paper to the desired height and punch the edges using your edger punch. Adhere it to the back of the bottle.

Repeat step 1 for the second band in the center, using a contrasting paper color. Make sure the width is thinner than the first band.

For the 3rd, middle strip, use your EK Success Brands Medallian Chain Large Edger Punch (or any edger punch that creates a chain) and punch one strip. Layer this chain on top of the 2nd layer.

Create a label for your wine bottle out of a coordinating card stock.

Take a coordinating colored ribbon and criss cross it around the neck of the bottle. Adhere the ribbon to the bottle.

Finally adhere the label to the ribbon at the place where the ribbon crosses.

You now have a really cute invitation and gift!

Enjoy!
