DIY- Halloween Bird Seed Ornaments

Here’s a super cute, fun and eco-friendly Halloween craft to do with the kids! Bird Seed Ornaments! They are so easy to make, and a great way to spend an afternoon! They will take overnight to dry, so make sure you have some spare room set aside for them to lay flat.

All you need is

4 cups of bird seed, We used Pennington Wild Bird Seed

3 tablespoons of corn syrup, We used Great Value Brand Corn Syrup

1/2 cup of water

and 3/4 cup  flour. We used Great Value Brand Flour

Mix all of the ingredients until they stick together. You can either roll out the bird seed mixture on some wax paper to about 1/2 inch thick, or you can set the cookie cutters down on the wax paper and fill them individually We tried both methods, but ended up just filling them all up individually. We then poked a hole towards the top with a toothpick and let them set out to dry overnight. Once they were dry, we put a piece of yarn through and tied it on so we could hang them from the trees!

The kids had an absolute blast making them!
