This month’s review via the Walmart Mom’s program is the Olay Pro-X Advanced Cleansing System, otherwise known as a facial cleansing brush.

What is it?

Similar to other, more expensive, brands on the market today, the Olay Professional Facial Cleansing Brush says that it cleanses skin 6x better vs basic cleansing, and helps maximize the immediate hydrating effectiveness of your anti aging moisturizer.

My thoughts?

Not bad. I was able to try it out over the past week, and it seemed to work well. My face felt clean, it has a softer bristle brush, so my face isn’t getting scratched up like when I use my facial loofah scrubber… It’s gentle, yet cleanses well.

Comparing it to one of the more expensive alternatives:

The Olay Facial Cleansing Brush is battery operated vs. rechargable. It takes 2 AA batteries (included), which makes it a great option for travel. I don’t have to worry about bringing along a charger, or even forgetting it.

Most of the “Sonic” facial brushes vibrate to “shake” the dirt out of your pores. The Olay Facial Cleansing Brush has a 2 speed rotating brush.

Like most of the others, the Olay ProX Facial Cleansing Brush is water resistant, so you can use it in the shower, and like most others, you can replace the bristle brush head. One is included, and refills are available.

You can use the Olay ProX Facial Cleansing Brush with the Olay cleansers, or with your favorite cleanser. It does come with a sample of one of the Olay Cleansers, which is pretty good.

Overall, I think this is a great option, and it definitely saves money. Whether it cleans better or not, I can’t say for sure, but if you want a facial cleansing brush and don’t want to fork over all the cash for the more expensive brands… This should work just fine!
