As you all know, I’ve been on a major weight loss journey, and have really been working hard at eating healthier. Since adding some major exercise to my daily routine, proper nutrition and a lot of portion control, I’ve been seeing results! I’m starting to lose size… in many places… I’m feeling much more energized, and I’ve noticed that I have more stamina. It’s been amazing. The hardest part of my health kick is finding food that is good for you, but that also tastes good and is something that the whole family will eat.

Something that everyone in my family loves is steak. We have steak every so often, but only when we find the right cuts. My husband is the steak connoisseur in our family, and I listen to him when it comes to what is a good cut of meat. When I was offered the chance to try out some Chef’s Requested meats, I was excited, he was a little bit skeptical. Chef’s Requested sent us a few packages of their Bacon Wrapped Filet Mignon, and some of their Flat Iron Steaks, and they have all been awesome! Can you believe the Flat Iron Steaks are only 100 calories? What perfect portions and they’re so good!

My hubby loves to BBQ, and he is very picky about his cuts of meat. We first tried the Bacon Wrapped Filet Mignon, and it was tender, juicy and delicious! Even my girls loved them! They devoured every bite, and they don’t always do that!

  54. Lately dear cheap stingy hubby’s idea of meat is hot dogs and bologna
    My son and I are meat eaters so have been missing some good meat
    Since hubby does the shopping on his way home from work and I’m unemployed have to rely on what he buys
    Daughter eats at her job since she works, she try’s to help feed me lol

  76. We would love to try these. My husband, like yours, is picky about steak. It must be perfect. I love the portion control too, I tend to eat whatever is on my plate, so smaller portions=better. Thanks so much for the opportunity.

  114. I purchased a box of your steaks from walmart and was quite suprpised when I defrosted one only to find out it was a hamburger, and a poor quality burger at that. The meat department assured me that because there was a picture of a steak wraped on the box it would be steak inside the box, not a cheap burger. I strongly sugest that if someone is looking for steak you should sell them steak. Now my biggest concern is will walmart take them back, because I sure don’t want them.

    I am hoping it was a packaging error. When we had them, they were most certainly steaks, and not pressed ground beef…
    Contact them and I’m sure they will work something out with you!

    If all else fails, give the local Walmart store where you purchased them a call. Speak with the store manager and let them know what the situation is…

  116. I just purchased the bacon wrapped filets We will have them in a few hours with a salad and baked potato. Really looking forward to them. They look scrumptious. I will post again as to how we liked them. We don’t usually buy beef unless it is a filet or superior cut as most beef tastes like cardboard and we would rather opt for chicken or fish.
