Review: My Friend Paris

paris

As one of the Parent Reviewers team, I was given the opportunity to review a book called I’m Having Twins, the first book of the My Friend Paris series. It’s written by Paris Morris, a 9 year old author, living in San Francisco, CA.

In this book, we meet Paris, a young girl whose mommy is pregnant with twins! She asks all of the questions a future big sister would ask when there’s a baby on the way… and she is thinking everything x2! She loves the time she spends with her parents and grandparents, and wonders if when the twins are here, will she have to share her room or toys… All very good questions. We don’t get to meet the twins in this book, but mommy does head off to the hospital! I love how Paris calls them “MY twins”… I think it’s so cute how she really wants to be a good big sister.

The colors are very bright, and the illustrations are super cute. This series is going to be great for any other boys and girls, who may be in a similar situation as Paris! There are a lot of questions when there’s only one baby on the way… and it only gets scarier when there are twins coming!

I’d definitely recommend this book to any parent for their children who are expecting more than one special blessing in their family! I think seeing another child around their age going through the same thoughts and feelings would help put their minds at ease a little more before their twins arrive.

You can purchase this book at Amazon.com or many other retailers. If you have a moments, be sure to check out MyFriendParis.com! There are other books in this series, and another series… Free printables, and other My Friend Paris Merchandise as well!!!
