1. Don’t trick or treat alone! Make sure you walk in groups or with a trusted adult.
2. Use reflective tape on costumes and bags to help drivers see you better.
3. Look both ways before crossing the street. Use crosswalks whenever possible.
4. Walk, don’t run between houses.
5. Walk on sidewalks whenever possible. If sidewalks aren’t available, stay on the far edge of the road facing traffic.
6. Only visit well- lit homes. Don’t stop at dark houses, and NEVER accept rides from strangers.
7. Hold a flashlight while trick or treating to help you see and help others see you.
