Review: Elf Magic!

It’s Christmas time, and there’s always a little bit of magic in the air during the holiday season. This year, our magic includes a visit from two of Santa’s elves! Poppy and Vance came to us via a plane ticket from Elf Magic.com.

Elf Magic has been one of the most exciting and timeless Christmas traditions we’ve experienced here as a family. My girls have been so excited to have these elves visiting us!

A little background into the Elf Magic Tradition:

Your child can write a letter to Santa asking if an elf can come visit for the holidays. One day between Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve, an Elf will magically appear in your home for their visit, bringing with them an Elf Magic poem, and their very own special snowflakes from the North Pole. Your child is encouraged to play with the Elf so they can keep and eye on him/her!

Every night, your child can place the Elf on the counter, with a plate of crackers and a glass of water, both of which remind them of the snow back home at the North Pole. He/She should also sprinkle their elf with the special snowflakes . While your child is sleeping, their elf magically comes to life! They love to play with your child’s toys, and cause mischief in the house. My girls have found their elves inside their doll house, on the couch under a pile of my yarn, and asleep at the table after a night of drawing some very cute Christmas pictures. My girls have also occasionally found a special treat inside their elves Santa Sack, which is also a very cool surprise.

On Christmas Eve, the Elf must return to the North Pole with Santa Claus to let him know if your child has been naughty or nice during their stay, and to help deliver toys!

The tradition starts all over again the next year!

It’s been so awesome to see the smiles on my girls’ faces every morning when they come down the stairs and start searching for their elves. I’m going to be sad to see the elves return home to the North Pole on Christmas Eve, but I can’t wait to see what fun and mischief they will bring next year!
