Old Time Style in a Modern World- Edison Bulb Wax Warmer

Scented wax warmers are all the rage right now. You can find them from many different companies, in many different styles. Some are supporting your favorite sports teams, and others have words of encouragement, or animals. Most often, you’ll find them in solid ceramic so minimal light comes out of them… They’re hiding the lightbulb inside, because why show off something no one really wants to see?

All of that is changing with the new Edison Bulb Wax Warmer from ScentSationals at Walmart. Their distinct line of Edison Wax Warmers is inspired by vintage light created by the inventor of the light bulb, Thomas Edison. ScentSationals wanted to find a way to make a unique line of warmers that is about the light, using simple designs that accentuate light while building on materials and visuals inspired by antique objects. So the Edison Wax Warmer was born, emphasizing the beautiful warm glow and decorative filament of a vintage bulb, and decorative objects from history, this line brings a little bit of the beautiful past into your modern home.

DSC_0984I received the Brighton style Edison Bulb Wax Warmer to check out, along with a selection of wax scents. The first thing I noticed, was that it was lightweight, and very pretty! The construction is of glass and metal, not ceramic like other wax warmers I’ve owned. I unpackaged it, and found it a home on my kitchen island. It looks awesome in there with the dark wood cabinets.

DSC_0995To test it out, I chose a subtle scent that wouldn’t overpower any of our meals. The light is fairly bright, so it probably wouldn’t work that well as a nightlight in a bedroom, but it’s great to add a little bit of extra light in the kitchen, or a corner of a family room. It didn’t take long before the kitchen, and even the living room were filled with the fresh air scent. Nothing heavy, but more like clean smelling.

There’s a big selection of these Edison Bulb Wax Warmers, including ones that you can really see that bulb filament. We are planning on renovating our front room and these Edison Bulb Wax Warmers would go great in there! Some of my favorites are the Nautical, Melody, and Spectacle. I can’t wait to get to the store to grab a couple more of these!

At only $19.97, the Edison Bulb Wax Warmers are a great way to bring in some Old World Charm to your Modern Decor, and they cost less than many other wax warmers on the market right now! Wax refills are nearly half the cost of other brands as well, and these scents last for a long time! Talk about saving money!

  1. I was wondering how it’s holding up now? I’ve bought a metal one in the past, and the paint chipped off the wax bowl part after the first time!

    1. Hi Summer! So far, so good. It’s still looks new. We don’t leave it on all day/night. I turn it off when we go to bed, and back on in the morning when I come downstairs… but it has not had any issues with it! Still love it!
