  1. My whole family is overloaded with video and audio equipment, so I would opt for the pajamas, tops, chocolate gift packages. But really we are abundantly blessed and I would choose to use the gift card towards making a family in need here in our hometown have a brighter Christmas season.

Patricia Newhouses last blog post..It’s Almost That Time….

  2. I would spend the money on clothes for the 3 kids. They’ve all grown so much this year! Books – oh how they love to read. It would be fun to let them go and be able to pick out any book(s) that they wanted regardless of the cost!

  3. I’d like to get "Family Game Night" for Nintendo Wii for the whole family to enjoy and my daughter is in need of new underwear since our dog keeps snacking on them. I’ll probably also get him some dog biscuits so maybe he’ll leave the new ones alone!

  4. hmmm… $100 at Walmart… I could get lost in there for less than that!
we are in market for games for the kids electronic systems this year. I would prefer the more practical clothing and accessories. Or a few good books

  5. I’d buy my nieces all kinds of toys! My sister is in a housing crunch AND in the middle of a divorce. She and the ex have to live together b/c they can’t afford to get out from under the stifling mortgage nor could they sell for even 1/2 of what they paid. Times are really tight for them. I want my nieces to NOT feel these times.

  6. Chocolate chocolate chocolate! The problem would be giving AWAY the chocolate gift items from Walmart. How could I part with them?

  7. I’d use the gift card toward a Zune,
I’d hope to buy it very soon,
I see it in the Walmart ad,
It would be for my son’s Dad…
A Zune is what he’d like the best,
He hinted about it twice in jest,
I am an elf at heart, you see,
And hope this wish brings luck to me!

  8. Greetings, My best friend is the secretary at our fire dept. Every year they have a drive for new toy, clothes, etc. for the needy families in our town. I would give it to the fire dept. to purchase needed things for the families.
    Many thanks, Cindi

  9. We need a good, active family game — I would go for the Wii Rock Band — everyone would have a part and it sounds like fun too.

  10. I would get the tree of life pendant necklace. It’s really beautiful and I think it would make a great gift for my mom, or me, or both!

  11. I have about 100 ways to spend the $100 dollars! The difficult part would be deciding. The practical ‘me’ likes the idea of ink for the printer and usb flash drives. I am sure the boys would like video games, since they always do. I’m sure the puppy thinks treats are the best idea. Oh no… I just saw iTunes gift cards! The ‘indulgent’ me thinks I should spend it all on chocolate. I can not believe they have knit wraps for $5 each. We love those, the girls could sure get a big supply with $100. Did you see the great price on those super soft fluffy socks? I love those. I suppose I would end up doing a mixture of these things.

  12. I know this sounds like the easy way out but this year has been a tough one on my 10 year old. He is the only child at home and is used to getting pretty much what he wants. This tough financial year has been hard for him to get used to, so with that in mind I would give the gift card and the gift guide to him and help him make the best choices on how to spend the card as his Chirstmas present.

  13. Well, I just took 2 ornaments of the Angel tree for seniors. So I would buy them pj’s and robes and throw blankets. I also would like to get them some sugar free candy and some extra snacks I saw.
I would also like t get sample size items for the local share and care. For myself, some ink and paper….Would love to get a wii game or 2 for the sin using the price match program at walmart- their competitors have some great deals – but, I’d rather get them at WalMart in 1 trip for everything…
    thanks for this offer

Or it would be the camera for $129 so he can take pics at the Zoo each month we go instead of having to use the disposable ones.

  16. I would buy each of my kids something. I have 4 kids and this year is going to be a really tough time for us with my husband getting laid off.

  17. I would buy some clothes for my daughter. She’s lost some weight, and I can’t afford new clothes for her right now. $100 would buy her several items at wal mart.

  18. My 9-year old really, really wants lazer tag and an acoustic guitar. He’s growing so dang fast though we HAD to get him clothes and a coat. So we are trying to decide if he’s getting the lazer tag OR the guitar. With this gift card, he can get both! **crossing fingers and wishing on a star*** :o)

{heather}s last blog post..My poor husband

  21. That’s an easy one, I’d use it towards a new sewing machine! Mine didn’t survive our move to the new house last april and i’ve been lost without it!

  22. My husband is a student and we have four kids so it would be spent on necessities.

Shoes for my 8 year old. PJ’s for my 6 year old. Winter boots for my 4 year old and diapers for my 1 year old!

  23. Wii family game night, although if I could I’d put the money towards purchase of xbox or ps3 for son so we can get Santa to visit one more year.

  24. My girls have been begging me for a leapster learning system and games…I would love to spend all of the card on my three kiddos!!!!

  25. I would use the $100 giftcard for Wal-Mart to buy a futon. My 23 year old daughter is moving back in to finish up school and is going to live in my craft room for the duration. I’d like a futon so I can use it after she’s done.

  26. I’d use it to buy a comforter set for myself that I’ve had my eye on. The rest I’d use for stocking stuffers. Those little things really add up money wise!

  138. .. oh a $100 at Walmart, lets see .. after looking thru the Walmart site I came up with the 2 slice toaster, Stainless steel since ours has just about had it and the Home Trends Microsuede Bed in a Bag and thank you much for this nice contest, it’s appreciated. retirenaval(at)yahoo.com

    PLATED MOVEMENT! Thank you!!

  140. Anything Wii … Santa is going to make some kids happy this year (even Mom and Dad kids), but who wouldn’t love another couple of games?

  141. I love to shop at Walmart for the entire family! Walmart truly offers the best prices in our area bar none for any and every item you can possibly think of! I would love to purchase from Walmart’s Holiday Gift Guide the Xbox 360 Arcade Console System Bonus Pac. My son wants this so much and at $199.92 we just cannot swing it. But if we could apply $100 towards it, then it would most definitely be something we could indeed purchase for him! So, from here I will keep my fingers crossed! Thank you so much for the opportunity to enter.

  147. Silly, but I would get the Guitar Hero World Tour with the two guitars. I have wanted one of these for the past few years, but since it’s something I want and not need (and my kids didn’t ask for it from Santa) I haven’t been able to justify spending the money on myself! This would be a great treat!

  148. Im sure I would get some of the 12 movies for Christmas! I might put it towards that Apple Ipod Nano for my husband, hes been wanting one!!

  150. I would start off with a couple of the JOHNSONVILLE MEAT AND CHEESE GIFT SETS WITH BAMBOO BOARD
4 sausages, cheddar and swiss cheese. We have several places to go and these would be great to use to make appetizer trays. The rest would be used for a delicious Christmas dinner for the family. Thank you for the opportunity to participate in this giveaway! Happy Holidays to One and All!!!!

  151. One of the digital picture frames so I can put my daughter’s pictures on display. Also, the chocolate tower looks yummy and some lounge pants for my hubby.
