Festive Holiday Home Decor

Being a Walmart Mom is awesome. This year, I was able to travel back to Bentonville, AR and got to check out a whole bunch of cool holiday decorations available this year at Walmart.

Christmas is almost here, and many people will have friends and family over for the holidays. It’s so easy to make your home look like Christmas while still being cozy and inviting.  I fell in love with so many of the things I saw while I was in Bentonville, that I had to run to my local store and buy a bunch of it! I grabbed some really cute items for my mantle, and for my side table.LivingRoomDecor

From Hurricane Candle Holders to Votive Centerpieces, I had to bring things into my home! I even learned some new techniques to setting up a beautiful dinner table for the holidays! Did you ever think of placing a Votive Candle Holder in the center of your stacked plates? Neither did I! How about  red throw pillows with roses on them? They are beautiful!  You can place an LED candle in a hurricane holder and fill around it with cinnamon sticks. Pretty, and makes the room smell festive! There’s even using a pretty cookie jar as a vase… Never would’ve thought about that… ever…. I tell you. I learned so many totally cool tricks!

Another great way to keep your home smelling great during the holidays, besides baking lots of cookies, is to use the Better Homes and Gardens Wax Warmers! These wax warmers are absolutely awesome. They are totally safe, especially with kids around. There is no open flame to worry about, and the wax scents last a really long time! There are so many yummy scents to choose from, and you can even mix and match various scents to make your own!  Check out the video below to see one of my favorites!
